I have a wonderful idea...You want a team with res signet? Go to TA!
Want a team that doesn't have so-called 'noobs' on it? Go to TA!
In my opinion, Resurrection Signet in RA is a waste of a skill slot. *braces for flames*

Though I generally bring a resurrection, sometimes I use builds that don't have resurrection signet.

The only time you would expect anyone to have a res sig would be a mesmer, necro, ele, possibly ranger, and sometimes a war.
There is absolutely no reason for an Assassin not to take a Rez Sig.

Don't put a quote and deform its contents without properly indicating the change, it does the original poster no credit. I think u were the guy to use 2 skills for a meager 75 damage (poison tip signet and toxic shock, http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...72048&page=48), better take res and another skill, for example IAS, a self heal or maybe an utility. Yopur poison hardly contributes to the damage caused by signet of deadly corruption as it is almost maxed out by other conditions.

Not signed BTW, although i think most people could sqeeuze in a res signet. for me build designing means that i only need 7 skill, unless its a monk, even rits and other stuff i put in a signet. Although I hardly play extension shite as I think they should be removed from PvP or there should be choices for players to play in extension free PvP (meaning lacking any extension character skills and professions)

Yes, lets have monks use rebirth in the middle of a fight. Then both I have no energy (elementalist main), and they have no energy.

While rebirth is a great rez skill, it is not the best one for a monk to carry if they are thinking of using it in the middle of the fight. IMO monks should not use a rez in the middle of a fight, ever.

Also, with rits having flesh of my flesh and paragons having signet of return (possibly combined with we will return) how is it still the monks job to bring people back to life.

But you can put healing breeze and rez while it's up!

Monks have 8 rez spells. Rits only have 4, and paragons are stuck with one! It's definitely the monk's job to rez, since he has at least twice the number of skills for the task.

You know how if your a character from nightfall or factions and you're in a pre-LA mission, when you go to enter mission, a message pops up and says stuff about how you aren't from Prof???

Why not just do that in RA? Be like, "Hey Nub, you forgot your res sig. Are you sure you want to enter mission???" *you click yes* "Are you kidding me. Why aren't you bringing a sig you nubtard???" *you click the button that says, "I haven't unlocked it yet." "Wow, you really are a noob." *teleports you back to pre-searing where you belong*

Ok, so that is an exaggeration, but you get my point... If a screen pops up telling them to bring a sig, most people would do it...

By definition, monks have rezes. They are the class that is primarily about saving peoples lives, and bringing them back to life. About half of the ritualist class is about saving lives (the other half is about damage) therefore they have half the rezes. Paragons I would say are about 1/8 about saving lives and more about supporting people and mostly damage... thats why they have 1 rez. That's my logic at least. It really has nothing to do with what the class SHOULD BE DOING rather than what the class symbolizes.

Monks shouldn't res in battle because, fi you sit around and cast a 6 second hard rez on someone, another person will die while you wait for the cast to finish... This is why people bring hard rez on non-monk primaries.
